Qi is the universal standard for wireless charging. One Qi-certified charger powers all your devices, from iPhone and Samsung to AirPods and Apple Watch. Safe, fast, and cable-free. Read everything you need to know about Qi wireless charging below.

What is Qi?

Qi (pronounced chee) is the global standard for wireless charging, developed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) in 2010. The name comes from Asian philosophy and refers to "vital energy", an invisible flow of power, which perfectly reflects the idea behind wireless energy transfer.

More than 600 companies, including major brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips, Nokia, and Zens, contribute to the development and adoption of the Qi standard. Qi ensures full interoperability between certified chargers and devices: any Qi-certified phone, earbuds, or accessory will work seamlessly with any Qi-certified wireless charger.

Thanks to this standard, there's no need to carry separate chargers, cables, or adapters. Whether at home, at work, or while traveling, a Qi-certified charger from Zens gives you the freedom to power your devices easily and reliably.
