Which iPhones support wireless charging?

All iPhones from the iPhone 12 onwards are MagSafe and Qi2 compatible, supporting fast and efficient wireless charging (via magnets). This includes the latest iPhone 16 series (2024), as well as the iPhone 15, 14, and 13 series. Models from the iPhone SE (2020) to the iPhone 8 support wireless charging via the Qi standard.

Does wireless charging work with the Apple iPhone?

Yes. The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xr, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro max, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max can be charged wirelessly according to the Qi standard. Why does my Apple iPhone stop charging before it reaches 100%?

Ever since iOS 13 was released a new feature was introduced: ”Optimized Battery Charging”. This feature has been designed to increase the life span of the battery. The software uses machine learning to keep a track of your charging habits and waits to finish charging past 80%. While Optimized Battery Charging can be helpful, it has disadvantages regarding having your battery fully charged upon demand. So by disabling this setting, the problem can be solved. In order to do so go to ”Settings” → ”Battery” → ”Battery Health” → ”Optimized Battery Charging” and disable this feature.

What is MagSafe compatible?

A charger is MagSafe compatible when it is not an official Apple product, but still supports the magnetic connection of MagSafe. Our MagSafe chargers and MagSafe power banks make it easier to charge your iPhone wirelessly. The charger connects magnetically to your iPhone, even when the cover is attached. MagSafe will only work for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Can I charge my iPad or tablet with a wireless charger?

In some cases you can charge your iPad or tablet via our wireless chargers, but not wirelessly. Currently there are not many tablets that can be wirelessly charged. Still want to charge your tablet via our wireless chargers? Choose a charger with a USB-A port. Via this port you can connect your tablet to the wireless charger, thereby saving space of an additional power socket being used.

Will Apple Fast charge work?

All our chargers support Apple Fast Charge. A charger needs to support Apple Fast Charge in order to fast charge your iPhone. Not all chargers on the market have official compatibility, so be sure to check whether the charger you want truly supports Apple Fast Charge.
