In the heart of the city of Utrecht, the central office of VodafoneZiggo facilitates productive workdays, a place to connect ánd to have fun. Next to a great place to work, the central office is designed as a ‘living showroom’ to experience Vodafone Business’ own smart building solutions.

Integrated in Vodafone Business’ smart building platform, the Zens Desk Management System offers relevant occupancy data to VodafoneZiggo’s Facility Management, while the built-in Smart PuK's wireless chargers provide extra convenience to all employees.

Our solution

At VodafoneZiggo’s central office in Utrecht (1,700 employees) and at their office in Maastricht (1,200 employees) the Zens Desk Management System has been implemented and integrated into Vodafone’s smart building app. At each workspace, a Zens Smart PuK – a wireless charger with motion sensor- is built in.

The Smart PuK measures workspace occupancy in real time. Based on the gained data and insights, VodafoneZiggo can reduce the number of m2 and realize substantial cost savings in the area of rent, facility costs (such as cleaning), energy, etc. It also helps to reduce their carbon footprint.

In addition, by offering wireless charging at each workspace the workplace experience is optimized as people no longer need to bring charging cables to the office or need to worry about running out of battery power.
