Place your device on the pad and charging starts instantly, no cables, no clutter. But finding the right wireless charger involves more than convenience. Consider compatibility, speed, form factor, and safety certification to ensure the perfect fit for your needs.

1. Your device ecosystem

What gadgets do you charge daily, phone, earbuds, smartwatch? Do you share chargers at home or work? Choose between single, dual, or multi-device chargers based on the number and type of devices you use together.

2. Future-proof flexibility

Planning to add an Apple Watch or AirPods? A modular charger that can expand with your needs ensures you don't have to upgrade the entire setup later. Avoid replacing the whole charger when your device lineup grows.

3. Purpose and placement

Will it sit on your nightstand, desk, or travel in your bag? A flat pad suits bedside use, while a stand is ideal for desk visibility during calls or video sessions. For portability, choose compact travel-friendly models.

4. Need for fast charging

If you're often in a hurry, choose chargers with at least Apple Fast Charge or Samsung Fast Charge, offering up to 15 W of wireless power. For overnight charging, 5 W pads suffice, speed isn't crucial when you have hours to charge.

5. What about certification?

For wireless charging, one of the most important certifications to consider is Qi(2) certification. Qi (pronounced ‘’chee’’) is the global standard for wireless charging. All devices carrying the Qi logo are compatible with all Qi chargers. Products using the Qi or Qi2 standard must be tested rigorously to help ensure safety, interoperability and energy efficiency. Only products that have passed these independent laboratory tests can use the Qi logo and are considered “Qi-certified”. Using non-Qi-certified chargers might be unsafe, because these wireless chargers may not meet the mandatory and necessary protection features. Zens certifies all wireless chargers accordingly, so there’s no need to worry about this.
