The main difference is charging speed.

With 25W wireless charging, a compatible iPhone charges noticeably faster than with a 15W charger. For the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, 25W can get you to around 50% battery in 30 minutes, while 15W reaches around 35% in the same amount of time.

15W is slower, but that does not necessarily make it a worse choice. If your iPhone spends several hours on the charger, such as overnight or during your workday, 15W can be more than enough.

What is the fastest way to charge the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo?

Can I use my old wireless charger with the iPhone 18?
