For Maurice Parrée, owner of Grischa – DAS Hotel Davos, the switch to wireless charging was therefore a conscious choice to perfect the room experience: practical, peaceful and modern.

During a weekend away in Zurich, the Grischa team experienced wireless charging in a hotel room for themselves. It was simple, sleek and hassle-free. That moment was incredibly recognisable: guests often forget their adapters, need a different cable for each device and, above all, want to be able to charge quickly and immediately. Maurice Parrée's conclusion was clear: "This is exactly the kind of convenience we want to offer our guests, completely without cables."

The solution in all rooms

Grischa decided not to limit it to a few rooms, but to apply the solution in all 93 rooms. On both bedside tables, for a total of 172 beds. This allows every guest, on either side, to charge their phone immediately. Magnetic charging makes it extra intuitive: put it down, click it in and you're done.

For Grischa, it was a prerequisite that the partner be a European brand. It wasn't just a preference, but a crucial part of their vision.
